Phrase ‘terrorist’ inscribed on again, alleges prisoner in Punjab, probe ordered
A prisoner in a prison in Barnala in Punjab has accused the prison superintendent of torture and inscribing the phrase ‘terrorist’ on his again with an iron rod.
Taking cognizance of the incident, Deputy Leader Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa has ordered a radical inquiry and a scientific exam of prisoner Karamjit Singh, 28. DIG Ferozepur, Tajinder Singh Maur, will habits the inquiry.
The prisoner, who’s dealing with a lifestyles sentence in a homicide case, has alleged that the phrase ‘aatwadi’ or terrorist is inscribed on his again.
